Well yeah, I'm still around.

I'm disappointed. I lost a contest regarding writing. I haven't taken a beating this bad in a long time. Not depressed or anything, just that I got my hopes too high, and now I pay the price with humility, which is why I have to accept the loss and move on. At least it was fun for me to write. And maybe that was it: I loved it. I thought I'd at least impress the judges. Guess there were better people than me this time. Oh well. The contest is here: [link]

Also, I'm gonna be entering my first OCT, should my audition make the cut when I'm done with it: Ever Lasting. I think it has a great plot, intriguing characters and creepy setting. Basically it's a tournament, but nothing else I know so far. They only have about 4 entries, so if you missed The Real/Artists at the Ready, then this is probably for you. There's also another one I'm gonna enter probably, called Lost Hours so feel free to check them out. They accept art AND writing, so do think about it.

As for my life, I guess I'm good. Still struggling in a couple of issues but I'm pushing through... I guess? XD Feeling lonely though. I miss my friends, real-life and MSN. But I guess those in my MSN list are too busy to talk to me (I go online but they never talk to me, and sometimes when I do I never get a response, or they're not around.) And my real-life friends, well... this year, several of them graduated, or transferred to another campus. And now I have less friends as a result. I mean, I'll always have the OMG KAWAII DESU BEST FRIENDS FOREVAR around, but well, it still hurts. Before I know it, I won't have anyone to talk to and it might be hard to go on. But then again, I might as well move. Also...

Michael Jackson's dead. FUCK NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

XD, kidding. Everyone knows by now. Poor guy, R.I.P. Speaking of which, I've had several people important to me leave in one way or another. One of them was the guy responsible for making PR's TV into what it is now: a producer called Paquito Cordero (you definitely don't know him unless you're from Puerto Rico and/or have heard of him.) I never met the guy, but before I was introduced to cable TV, anime and Nintendo he gave me some damn good nights and evenings, especially with the lunchtime program. And the other was probably one of the best neighbors I've ever had in my life. He passed away due to diabetes and a massive heart attack after caring for his ill wife (she fell down stairs and had to be operated in her vertebrae) for a whole month. He barely ate and lost a lot of pounds. He passed away on her feet after he was telling her of a dream. I find it ironic that he died of a heart attack: the very thing his wife survived in the month in the hospital. At least he died painlessly and in peace.

Switching to happier notes, I'm playing with... TEH CAMERA! I'm loving the pictures I've taken so far, I'll see if I can upload them later.
